Jo-Ellen Petrone

Jo-Ellen Petrone has spent her career building talent acquisition functions across biotech and life sciences. She joined Bicara Therapeutics in mid-2025, initially as a Human Resources Consultant before moving into her current role as VP, Talent that October. Before Bicara, she was Head of Talent Acquisition at Anthos Therapeutics, and earlier held Head of Talent Acquisition roles at Sage Therapeutics, spanning Commercial and G&A functions. She also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Lantheus. She holds a BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
